Hey, I’m Renee.
I love working with folks ages 10- 25 who are ready to learn new coping skills, reflect on their internal world, and set goals for the future.
I’m known for working with people who experience ADHD, autism, depression, anxiety, gender dysphoria, and trauma in a creative and experiential way. It’s common for me to use art, games, metaphor and poetry. My office is a lot of fun.
In addition to experiential and expressive modalities, I incorporate aspects of DBT, CBT, ACT, Motivational Interviewing while being person-centered and trauma-informed. Prior to working with young people in an outpatient setting, I facilitated experiential adventure groups at a residential facility in Ohio.
When I’m not working, I love travel and hanging out with friends, my husband, and my pomsky, Winston. I have moved around my entire life and most recently from Ohio to Maine! I love plants and flowers and learning more about the outdoors. I enjoy doing anything creative such as making fairy houses or painting or tie dying!
